Worth the Switch?
March 24, 2017
The Nintendo Switch has problems but it’s still worth buying. While it is unfortunate that some systems are malfunctioning, It’s nothing close to that of the disastrous Ouya release where the system was garbage as well as the games. After a few changes I’m sure the switch will be less confusing. For now I think of it like it’s the PS3 (Playstation 3) when that was released, a little buggy but still fun. The only problem I have is with the system itself, the games however are a whole other story. Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the newest addition to the Zelda series, and in my opinion is an amazing game. It was surprising for me considering I always thought the Zelda games were overrated and that the fanbase consisted of only nostalgia addicted zealots. The game however, is spectacular, with creative AI and beautiful design. It’s like a real role playing game now, not some zero personality guy running around in the same green outfit all the time. Considering that the Switch is going to be including Skyrim on its list of future games, I can’t wait to see what else the Switch is capable of. So from me the Switch is a definite yes.
