The 2012-2013 Arcadia yearbook was selected to be featured as a  part of the 2014 Jostens Look Book. The Look Book includes a variety of spreads and photos from  yearbooks of various high schools to make a unique collection. Graduates Lauren Dietl and Ashley Sanchez were the co-editors in chief of this yearbook.

“I am insanely proud of my staff for being nationally recognized,” co editor in chief Erika Dietl said. “I am so glad our hard work paid off.”

Director Mark Schledorn described being selected to be a part of the Look Book as a major accomplishment.

“The Student Media program at West Shore has a rich tradition of excellence,”Schledorn said. “My students can be proud that all the work represented is conceived and executed by them alone. Also, our school administration is among the most supportive in the nation. I am blessed to be surrounded by such high-caliber people.”

Senior co editor in chief Jenna Winter said she hopes to keep the tradition alive and continue the 12 year trend of having our own yearbook spreads featured in this book.

“It would be a let down if we were not in the Look Book for next year because we have been recognized for so long,” Winter said. “I think we have a strong chance at contending at this level.”
