The Roar

  • Semester exams will be given Dec. 18-21.

  • Seniors must turn in their community service hours before Winter Break in order to fulfill the Bright Futures scholarship requirement.

  • Band, chorus and orchestra group photos will be taken Jan. 9 throughout the school day.

Senior Project draws media attention

David Troner, Josie Dornbusch and Megan Poulsen will be featured in Sunday’s Florida Today for their Senior Project work. Troner’s project involves piloting a plane, Dornbusch works on training a police dog and Poulsen is hosting a sand-sculpting contest to raise money for the Florida Wildlife Hospital and Sanctuary.

On Tuesday, Kaitlyn Hoskovec took part in a presentation to the Brevard County School Board. For her Senior Project, she held a swim-a-thon and raised $1,300 for special education programs.
