Senior Class prepares for tonight’s Follies

Senior Class is preparing for Senior Follies which will be held tonight from 6  to 8 in the gym.

“This is the first year we’re not having a buyout for Senior Follies,” club sponsor Melissa Henderson said. “In the past, kids could buy tickets to get out of homeroom and we made huge money on that, it’s a shame.”

Henderson is not the only one with feelings of disappointment.

“Not as many people will be able to go and we can’t raise as much money with only the evening show,” senior Bianca Taraschi said. “Not to mention it is Holy Thursday and many people have mass at the same time as Follies.”

Tickets will be on sale for $4 in the cafeteria during lunch, and they will be sold for $5 at the door.

“Even without the buyout, I am still so excited for Senior Follies,” senior Rachel Dunkel said. “It’s always surprising to see what the teachers actually notice about the students, and of course, it’s awesome to poke fun at the teachers.”

Approximately 12 skits have been prepared by the students and at least six teachers plan on performing.
