For the first time in West Shore history, the graduation ceremony will be live video-streamed via the internet beginning at 6:45 p.m. Thursday. The graduation ceremony is scheduled to commence at 7 p.m.
The live streaming — which will enable friends and relatives from throughout the world to view the ceremony — was made possible through the efforts of TV production teacher Maria Sotolongo along with freshman Adam Marzec. Assistant Principal Jim Melia also worked with Brevard Community College’s King Center to help bring the idea to fruition.
The video stream can be accessed by going to the school’s website at http://www.edline.net/pages/West_Shore_JSH under the News section to view the ceremony via live video feed.
