Advancement in ACT scores
September 14, 2015
Improved by .4 from the previous year, the class of 2016’s ACT scores have impressed administration. The class surpassed their predecessor’s average score of 27.
“I felt really confident walking out of the ACT last year and was happy to hear that my hard work and studying had paid off,” senior Brandon Sepulveda said.
The average score has risen since 2011 when it was 26.
“I felt that I was well prepared for the test and am glad that I could be a part of helping West Shore become the number one school in Florida,” senior John Hogan said.
Even though some district, state, and national results have flat-lined, West Shore continues to progress thanks to great teachers and instruction.
