The “Simon Sez” hypnosis show will be returning to the West Shore Auditorium tonight at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Project Graduation. Last spring’s show was not heavily advertised and, as a result, attendance was low, but senior Hannah Warshowsky heard positive feedback.
“I know people who went last year, and they had a great time,” she said. “I really want to know if I can be hypnotized.”
After the show, students and their parents can present a special voucher at the Chili’s on Wickham Road, and the restaurant will donate 10 percent of the bill to Project Graduation. Vouchers are available at the end of this article and on the Project Graduation website.
Our goals for the show are to raise money to support Project Graduation and give the graduates a memorable and safe event, and [also to] improve awareness of what Project Graduation is, encourage people to volunteer and support us and future classes,” Project Graduation President Jeff Glatter said.
Glatter also said he expects the show to be profitable.
“If we sell out all the seats, we would more than make up [the hypnotist’s] cost and have a nice profit towards the event,” he said.
