Andy Warhol-inspired Wildcats will soon hide the air-conditioning unit behind the art room.
“Ms. [Annamarie] Zink found some industrial material at a recycling center with her art-teacher friends,” National Art Honor Society president Victoria Heuston said. “It’s kind of dirty, so we’re painting over it, and then we’ll paint Warhol-style Wildcats on it to put on the fence around the unit.”
The unit is behind the art building, where Heuston plans to create a sculpture park for her Senior Project.
“Nobody likes to see the ugly AC unit,” Hueston said.
NAHS plans to install the fence-cover in February.
