Junior Erika Dietl’s design recently placed first in the 25th Annual Habitat for Humanity Strawberry Festival T-shirt design contest judged by artists from the Art Gallery of Viera.
During a March 16 award ceremony, Dietl — who is a student of West Shore graphic design instructor Jim Finch — will receive a plaque and gift certificate at Wickham Park’s main pavilion, where the two-day festival is being held.
The Strawberry festival will feature a car and bike show, an arts and crafters vending area and a 5K run.
All proceeds benefit the building efforts of Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County. For more information, visit http://brevardhabitat.com/events-fundraisers/strawberry-festival/
