After wrapping up the high school spring musical, “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” Troupe 6034 readies for the State Thespian Festival starting Wednesday.
“I am really excited for state,” sophomore Emily Davidson said. “I really hope all of our hard work and persistence pays off.”
The drama troupe plans to leaves for Tampa on Wednesday and return Sunday.
“Missing that much school will be hard, but it will be work all the make-up work if we do well,” sophomore Kristina Manning said.
After receiving many superiors ratings at the District Thespian Festival, the students have high hopes for their many acts at state.
“They have worked so hard, so I’m hoping the performances are phenomenal and we win big,” troupe director Maureen Fallon said.
