Basement Scene, Stork to perform downtown

The Basement Scene and Stork will be performing at the Sun Shoppe located in downtown Melbourne Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m.

“This show is going to be an important moment for us, considering the amount of people we have hyped about coming to hear us,” Anthony Crown, lead guitarist and vocalist for the Basement Scene, said.

The bands up to perform are the Basement Scene, Solar Compactor, Stork and the Dirty Fingernails.

“Our expectations are very high, as there are a lot of really talented musicians who are going to be performing,” Crown said.

Stork, the Basement Scene’s partner act, will be releasing their album “Little Kingdoms” at the show.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” Greta Schledorn, keyboardist and back-up singer, said. “We have some pretty cool songs, and we’re finally getting our album out.”
