Yearbook distribution date set

The 2015 edition of the Arcadia yearbooks will be distributed May 15 and 16 during lunch.  This year’s theme is “Exposure.”

“[The theme] is basically what makes everyone special that you don’t usually see,” co-editor in chief and senior Emily Dubec-Hunter said. “It’s the stories no one really knows about you. It is exposing the essence of each student.”

Dubec-Hunter also said this year’s book is different from years past because it is more simple and monochromatic.

“We went with a very simple and photo-based look, which I like because it gets more people into the book,” she said. “It’s very clean.”

One of the biggest struggles to overcome this year while making the yearbook was caused by many of the last year’s staff graduating, Dubec-Hunter said.

“Having to train a new staff while developing our theme and getting all the information is really difficult,” she said. “They are really hard workers, and I am really proud of how they stepped up and did their work.”

Yearbooks are on sale for $70. Students can turn the money into yearbook adviser Mark Schledorn in Room 3-104 or purchase them online at jostens.com.
