The Wildcats huddle up to begin their game.

The boys’ soccer team fell 4-0 to Orlando Montverde, one of the best soccer team in the nation on Monday. The Eagles have not lost a match in five years.

“I feel as if this year’s team was the best squad that we have ever challenged Montverde with,” senior goalie Allan Joyner said. “Despite losing, we came together as a team.”

The boys’ soccer team won its first home game 6-1 last Tuesday against the Heritage Panthers. Sophomore Abe Murphy scored twice, while  the other goals were scored by juniors Sam Leighton, Nick Burgess and Keegan Schauman along with freshman Ian Leighton.

“The team played phenomenal, even the kids coming off the bench are playing so well,” senior Robert Madden said. “Hopefully, we come to perform for every game like this and we never lose a home game if we do that’s bad.”
