Then again on Monday night, West Shore once again tames the Mustangs with a 46-32 victory. Junior guard Lauren Burns scored 10 Saturday and 12 Monday. The team is now 5-1.

“Monday night was challenging game because we had just played them in the Thanksgiving tournament and they knew how we set up on offense, but we played well and overcame the difficulty,” Burns said.

Senior Victoria D’Esposito scored 20 points on Saturday, and freshman Gillian Foster put up 17 points on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Wildcats will travel to Vero Beach to confront the Master’s Academy basketball team. JV competition will be at 5:30 p.m. and varsity will tip off at 7 p.m.
