‘Haunted Horseman’ volunteers needed

Brevard County Parks and Recreation is seeking volunteers to help design and decorate for the two Halloween events featuring the “Headless Horseman and the Haunted Stables” on Oct. 26 and 27.

These two events will take place at the Equestrian Area at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne.

Volunteers are needed to help the staff design and decorate the horse stables, and will also be needed during the event to wear a costume and assist in scaring the patrons. Volunteer hours will count toward school and club requirements. These two events are targeted at older children, so teens and adults so only apply.

If interested, contact Tabitha Niemann at [email protected] or call the Wickham Park Office at (321) 255-4307.

Wickham Park is also accepting halloween decorations as donations, those can be dropped off at the main office inside the park.
