Key Club will begin its annual ‘Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF’ fundraiser Thursday.
“We will be collecting money at lunch and during school,” senior Vinashna Patel said. “Every teacher will have a UNICEF box to ask kids to donate any spare change they may have.”
This Halloween-themed campaign will continue through Oct. 31 to raise money to help eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus in the United States. Students’ change will be collected in Neon jack-o-lanterns during lunch in the cafeteria.
“It’s a clever way to raise money while keeping the season/holidays in mind,” sophomore Jenna Winter said.
