After weeks of preparation, TV Productions I students began filming last week. Soon their completed projects will air on WCTZ news.
“We learned about how to frame shots, conduct interviews, what questions to ask and the kinds of topics that are of interest to students on campus,” teacher Maria Sotolongo said.
Sophomore Sabrina Fabbri said she enjoys leaving class to film and interview others.
“My favorite part of TV productions would be making videos, going out into the field, and getting everyone’s opinion on the questions,” Fabbri said.
Projects topics include the Homecoming dance, the middle-school dance and recent sports games.
“I think the outcome will be a more interesting newscast,” Sotolongo said.
