Turkey giveaway set for Nov. 23

Alpizar Law will be holding a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway on Nov. 23 from 10:30 a.m at the Alpizer Law office on 1528 Palm Bay Road.

“This event can connect people of different incomes.” Isabel Miles (9) said. “It helps us realize that, at the end of the day, we are not looking at what is at our Thanksgiving table and what we are eating, but that we are coming together as a community.”

Alpizar Law will be giving away 600 turkeys a on a first, come first served basis. Anyone in Brevard and its surrounding cities can get one turkey per household from this giveaway. Registration for the event will begin at 8 a.m.

“I think that this is a good way to help out those who don’t have turkeys during this season,” Faith Collins (9) said. “So that they can enjoy their holiday like everyone else.”

Aside from the giveaway, the event will also have a raffle, DJ Timmy Vee playing music and face painting. The Palm Bay Fire Department truck will also be at the event to entertain children.

Parking for the event will be across the street from the office at Applebee’s. The event is free to attend.
