The track meet that was scheduled to be at Sebastian High School, on Saturday, at 8 a.m. has been changed to Eau Gallie after school today.

Angela Maley (10) expressed displeasure with the switch.

“Since the meet was so last minute our coaches don’t know what time the races start which is kind of annoying since we have no clue when we’re going to run,” Maley said. “It’s also kind of a struggle because many kids on the track team have to work after school so they either have to call out of work or not go to the track meet.”

Runners who are on both the middle-school team and varsity have to run two days in a row because of the meet being rescheduled. 

“It’s been a long week and I’m tired, but every meet is a chance to get better and PR,” Hayden Delia (7) said.
