On May 8, the track banquet will take place at West Shore at 6 p.m. to recognize the achievements of participants.

It is a time to acknowledge the dedication of those involved with track.

“Basically, it is an end of the year party for track,” sophomore track participant Samantha Erfe said.  “There will be awards for recognition.”

It honors all participants in track.

“It is going to include coaches, throwers, sprinters, long-distance runners, just everyone involved,” junior track participant Adrianna Green said.

Green said it is an important event for the team.

“It’s a nice celebration for everyone’s hard work and players’ progress at becoming a better athlete.  I think that it is important to recognize everyone’s perseverance.”

All team members are welcome as well as friends and family.
