Titusville hosts horror film festival

The Picture Show Panic event will be taking place this Saturday at the Titusville Mall Cinema. The Picture Show Panic is a horror film festival. This will be the first horror film festival to take place in Brevard.

“I think it’s really cool that Brevard is having a film festival,” Rushil S. (8) said. “It’s something new for Brevard which makes it cooler that Brevard is creating opportunities for different people to enjoy and experience new things.”

Picture Show Panic will have many activities to participate in. From 10 to 11:30 p.m. there will be a showcase of horror short films, from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. there will be vendors and food, and from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be a costume contest. There will also be a raffle attendees can take part in. The raffle donations will go to the local nonprofit organization, The Children’s Hunger Project.

“The event I am most excited about is the costume contest,” Faith Collins (9) said. “This is because I like to dress up and feel that this will be enjoyable for students who attend the event.”

The cost for a ticket to this event is $15.
