Recently the school’s theater groups have been staying after school on their one acts in preparation for upcoming state-qualifying competitions.  The high school group will be performing an act called “Removing the Glove” and the middle-school group will be performing “Your Grandma Working on the Brothers Grimm Spectacular Fun.”

“‘Removing the glove’ is about a boy who comes out as left-handed in a society where left-handed people are not accepted,” Ethan Rebec (11) said. “The middle-school’s one act is basically a new version of all of the Brothers Grimm stories including Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel and many more.”

The high school competition will be held Friday and the middle-schoolers will compete Saturday.
