Summer reading assignments are now available for students. They have been distributed by English teachers and are now on Edline.
“I’m excited,” sophomore Olivia Humphrey said. “I want to read the book because I like to read, when I have time.”
As a special offer from Barnes and Noble, order forms are available so students may purchase their books and have them delivered to the school.
English teacher Lisa Rehm was especially excited for her sophomores as she spoke to them in class.
“For English 3, John Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men is required,’” Rehm said to her students. “It’s shorter than the books for AP Language and Composition, but it’s still a fun read.”
