Senior Lesley Wright currently is asking for pet-related items to donate to the South Brevard Animal Care and Adoption Center as part of her Senior Project.
“I’m collecting supplies because animal shelters are in desperate need of anything they can get their hands on,” Wright said. “I feel it is part of my duty as a member of the community to help them out.”
Wright has placed bins in the cafeteria and car loop to gather any items animals might need, such as blankets, food and toys. The collection effort is scheduled to run until Dec. 20.
“Who’s not a sucker for homeless animals?” Wright added.
