Volleyball falls to the Indians in their 2nd matchup of the season

This past Friday, the varsity volleyball team lost in an away game against archrival Edgewood 3-1. Both teams were within 3 points of each other to win each set of 25 points. They lost to Edgewood 25-23 in the fourth set.

“To make our team better,” sophomore Sally Kempfer said. “The team needs to take our game back to the basics, and that starts with good passes, accurate sets, and productive attacks on the net. I think our team has a great chance of bouncing back from a competitive game like this, in enough time to perform well at districts.”

The girls said they are trying to forget about this game and put all of their focus on getting ready for districts.

“Although the team lost, we are still preparing to see and dominate Edgewood in the district finals,” junior Jordan Dale said.

The next volleyball game is their senior night on Wednesday Oct. 5 against Satellite in the West Shore gym starting at 6:30 p.m.
