Sophomore Giao Huynh had 27 kills and the  girls’ varsity volleyball team defeated Satellite High School in its second match of the season Friday.

The Lady Wildcats dropped the first set 26-24, but quickly rallied by winning the next three 25-13, 25-20 and 25-14.

“We knew Satellite was a pretty good team, so we were a bit nervous going into the match. We definitely shook that off in the second game,” senior Mary Grace Lally said. “I’m really happy with how well the team is playing because we haven’t lost yet.”

The next match is scheduled to be played Wednesday at Holy Trinity.

“Hopefully we can continue the momentum throughout the season,” Lally said.
