Girls’ lacrosse pounds Eau Gallie

Although the girls’ lacrosse team was missing players for its game Friday night against Eau Gallie, the Lady Wildcats managed blow out Eau Gallie 12-4.

“We played well as a team and kept our head in the game, even though we were missing many key players,” captain Jackie Sherry said. “Together as a team we will keep up the hard work to continue our winning streak.”

The team continues to be undefeated and team members agree they have been improving on their skills.

“We did better on ground balls, passing, and throwing than we did in previous games,” said senior Alyssa Johnson, who scored the first goal of the night.

The team will take on Merritt Island on Thursday and Vero on Friday.
