The Lady ‘Cats soccer team beat Cocoa High Thursday night, by a score of 14-0. The 14 goals came via eight different Wildcats; three scored through sophomore Elena Barr, eighth-graders Maci P. and Jonelle P., junior Luisa De La Hoz, and sophomore Molly Redito each tallied twice, while junior Ezzine Chukwunenye, sophomore Fallon Klenotich, and freshman Samantha Intille all notched one goal apiece.

“The game went pretty well but we were playing a pretty terrible team,” Chukwunenye said. “It was actually quite boring to be honest. I honestly don’t think any of the girls on the other team knew how to play soccer, so we were just passing the ball around them and scoring and scoring. We didn’t even play the whole game, we had to stop at halftime. It was 14-0, mercy rule is 8-0.”

The Lady Wildcats next play tonight, when they host the Cocoa Beach Minutemen. The game will kick-off at 7 p.m.
