Boy’s soccer strive for Man of the Match

Since the beginning of the season varsity soccer coach Bob has awarded a verbal Man of the Match award to a player who has put alot of effort into the game. Last game against Palm Bay Brad Mooney received this award.

“I feel that its a good way to instill confidence into players because sometimes its hard to be confident when your playing at such a high level,” Senior Brad Mooney said.

Players on JV are beginning to wonder if they should adopt such an idea.

“I feel that it would help our players confidence and abilities to make better plays in the games,” sophomore Ethan Mooney said. “It also adds a sense of competition to the team so players wish to fight it out and strive for success.”
