Boys Lax prepares for rival match
February 18, 2016
The Wildcats boys’ lacrosse team will be looking to avenge last season’s 17-8 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs tonight at 7, when they host Melbourne High School. The two schools have a locational rivalry, so tensions will be high.
“We need to execute and play fundamental lacrosse,” eighth-grader Andrew K said. “Chris Melchori and Jake Diamond graduated, but this year seniors Nick Moore, John Hogan, Nick Saladino and others are ready to play.”
This past Tuesday, West Shore lost 12-1 to Rockledge High School. Their record sits at 1-2 heading into tonight’s fixture.

"We've had no issues, no snafus. Everything's been running smoothly, and we've been getting kids to class on time.”](https://westshoreroar.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IMG_9979-1200x800.jpg)
