Boys earn split in preseason tournament
November 27, 2018
The boys’ varsity basketball defeated Merritt Island 78-69 Monday, and fell to Space Coast 58-43 in a preseason basketball tournament played at Space Coast on Monday and Tuesday.
“We know we have a really good offense and that was displayed in both games because we averaged 70 points,” junior Josh Freeman said. “Our coach expected us to come into both games confidently, and we did that.”
The team will open the season at Heritage High on Tuesday.
