Soccer team to get championship rings at banquet

Members of the boys’ soccer team will receive their state championship rings April 20 during their end-of-season banquet. The school will pay for the commemorative jewelry.

Players could choose from a variety of engraving options. Sophomore Chase Hester’s ring will include his name and jersey number.

“I was really happy to hear that the rings were paid for,” Hester said. “It really shows they know all the hard work we put in.”

The boys will have waited for more than a month to receive their rings because they had to be custom made for each player.

Sophomore Collin Robidoux said the new ring is going to look good with the medals he an his teammates have been wearing to school to show off their accomplishment.
