Those interested in running for 20011-2012 Student Government Association officer positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer must register with club sponsor Heidi Heath in Room 4201 by Tuesday.

“I felt that as vice president this year, I always knew I would run for president knowing that I have the leadership skills and the experience to carry out all the duties the president is faced with,” junior Bianca Taraschi said.

The voting will take place April 12 in the media center during social studies classes. Students also can vote before and after school.

“A good candidate should be hard-working, even-tempered, not easily stressed, well-organized, friendly and have the ability to see the big picture as well as the details,” Heath said.
