Senior Class t-shirt fund-raiser

Senior Class is selling class of 2014 t-shirts in Mrs. Woyshner’s portable during lunch from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. The t-shirts will cost $14 and all proceeds will go towards the senior breakfast, held in the spring, as well as reducing the price of a senior prom ticket. The shirts were designed by senior Gift Sawangkum and represent the senior class.

Members of the Senior Class club encourage other senior students to purchase a shirt to benefit and represent their class.

“The shirts will help the class feel unified and, to the underclassmen, we will appear as though we rule the school. It is also nice for the students who attend Eastern Florida State College full-time, to have the ability to purchase a shirt and feel as though they are still a part of West Shore,” senior Shaun Wilson said.

Those associated with the group have high expectations for the fund-raiser.

“I trust that the sale will be a success because purchasing a senior shirt is a rite of passage since no other grades have shirts that represent their grade-level and the idea is original to our school and our own class. T-shirt sales are almost [always] a success, and I believe this one will be too,” senior Sierra Purden said.
