Senior Class selling doughnuts
February 12, 2018
Students can buy a dozen doughnuts for $7 during the Senior Class fund-raiser, which ends on Valentine’s Day.
“We’re doing a fund-raiser with Krispy Kreme,” Senior Class historian Joanae Lawrence said. “The Senior Class get a percentage of the sales. I think that $7 is a discounted price [for a dozen doughnuts], so not only are you getting a really good deal for doughnuts, you’re also helping out your class, which is nice.”
Lawrence also said the money earned in the fund-raiser will be used later this year.
“That money will be going towards events like graduation,” she said. “And also Project Graduation, when we go to Andretti [Thrill Park] after we go to graduation.”
Lawrence said there will be additional fund-raisers to come in the following months.
“We’re actually trying to plan a wings-eating competition, which would be a lot of fun,” she said. “But also, we’re trying to do a Chipotle night, but the wings-eating contest is really what we’re looking forward to right now.”
