National Honor Society is arranging events for the end of the year as well as beginning the planning process for next year.
“We are hosting a breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week, coordinating a beach clean-up, making cards for teachers and starting to plan for next year,” sponsor Rebecca Matoska said.
Along with the breakfast, Matsoka said the cards for the teachers will also be for Teacher Appreciation Week.
“I will have times for students to make them before [that] week,” she said.
In addition to these events, NHS is considering playing host a new event next fall.
“We are looking into having a community-wide event hosted by NHS, potentially related to Halloween,” Matoska said.

"We've had no issues, no snafus. Everything's been running smoothly, and we've been getting kids to class on time.”](https://westshoreroar.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/IMG_9979-1200x800.jpg)
