Middle-school boys edge Viera Charter 44-41
October 17, 2016
The boys’ middle school basketball team defeated Viera Charter 44-41 in the West Shore gym Thursday night.
“It felt great to get a win,” eighth-grader Bennett K said. “Usually, we lose, so this felt good to win.”
Although the 2-7 team’s season is coming to an end, some players have maintained a positive outlook on this season and their individual play.
“I think my overall game improved a little bit,” eighth-grader Chase B said. “Our team also came together at the end of the season.”
The boys will take on Edgewood at home in their final game of the season Tuesday at 5 p.m.
