Middle-chool orchestra earns superior marks

The middle-school orchestra received straight superior ratings at the annual Music Performance Assessment held at Titusville High School on March 4. The group performed three pieces, each being evaluated by three judges, and were given a final overall score.

“I was nervous and excited and I feel that we did really well because we practiced a lot,” seventh-grader Jolie L. said.

The scores rank from 1 being a superior and 5 being poor, the middle school orchestra received superior ratings for all three pieces it performed.

“It was really scary because this was my first time and one piece was really hard, but I think we deserve the grade,” seventh grader Katherine H. said.
