At the Melbourne Art Festival, which is ranked in the top 50 art shows in the United States, 14 Wildcats received awards.
In the High School Sculpture division, senior Paige Wendrzyk got first place, senior Naomi Sommer received second place, the Patron Pick was senior Riegal Spogen and the judges’ pick was junior Varaporn “Gift” Sawangkum.
In Drawing/Painting freshman Hannah Keats got second place and for the Digital category junior Jack Dickens received second. The honorable mentions were juniors Monty Karas and Alexandra Avarkotos. Six others received patrons awards.
