The girls’ lacrosse team lost to Viera High 12-8 on Wednesday.
“The game was high-scoring for both of the teams,” sophomore Sarah Kinsey said.”Even though Viera is a two-year team and the best in the county, we weren’t murdered by 10 points like Merritt Island was,” Kinsey said.
West Shore was behind at the beginning of the game.
“I think we thought we were going to lose at first, but then we started scoring at the end because we realized we could match up to [Viera],” sophomore Brooke Robertson said.
The team’s next match is scheduled to be played at Satellite High School on Saturday at 5 p.m.
