The Students Against Destructive Decisions club will be under new supervision starting next fall. School resource officer Chuck Landmesser will be overseeing the club, replacing English teacher Jessica Hartman.
“I wasn’t able to dedicate enough time to [SADD Club] this year, and [Officer Landmesser] knows a lot about the safety aspect of the club,” Hartman said.

Hartman said Landmesser’s position as a police officer will offer more to the students.

“I have to research almost every aspect of our activities whereas he just kind of already knows because he’s law enforcement,” she said.
S.A.D.D. Club will be putting a large emphasis on Red Ribbon Week in October to start next year off.
