Lacrosse exhibition pits boys against girls

Senior Kelly Hambel will play to a boys versus girls lacrosse game on Friday Jan. 27 at 4:30 pm. The game is the product component of Hambel’s Senior Project, and she hopes she can ace it.

“I’m really excited for the game and I am looking forward to finishing the project on a note of success.” Hambel said. The game is for all West Shore lacrosse players, and so far there are about 20 girls and boys participating.

One of the boys participating, sophomore Ryan Bellone, has a sure feeling that the boys will win.

“I can’t wait for the game and the boys are going to win all the way” Bellone said.

On the other hand, freshman Kaitlin Inganna, knows the girls will dominate, no matter if they win or not.

“I think it’s going to be a hard game but I think the girls will pull through,” she said. “We know the rules, and we have a lot of skill so it doesn’t matter that the boys out-number us, we will dominate.”
