Key Club announces food drive

Key Club members are planning to host a face paining event Friday, the final day of Spirit Week. The fundraiser will take place before school in the courtyard. Students can get their faces painted for $1.

“This year we will be conducting new fund-raisers that are fun and encourage students to be more active in school activities,” junior Illana Krause said.

Key Club members also are holding a food drive to help Melbourne homeless shelters. Students are encouraged to bring jars of peanut butter and jelly to sponsor Mary Masons in Room 4-205.

” The peanut butter and jelly drive is great cause to help people in need,” junior Rima Chakhtoura said.

The next Key Club meeting is scheldured to be held Oct. 3 at 3:45 in Room 4-205.
