JV boys’ basketball ready to face rival Edgewood

The junior varsity boys’ basketball team will clash with rivals Edgewood tonight in the West Shore gym at 5:30.

The team is locked in and has been focusing on preparing for this important game.

“I believe the biggest factors in beating Edgewood will be actually running our offenses, making good passes and having an aggressive mindset,” sophomore Armando Santamaria said. “I also believe that boxing out and making an effort to rebound will be crucial in a win.”

The 2-3 team hopes to even its record behind a strong game from their key players.

“We just need to come out and play,” sophomore Matthew Marcinkowski said.”I think we need big games from our more effective offensive players.”

Fans are encouraged to wear white to show support for the team. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
