Juniors hold Smoothie fundraiser

The Junior Class is selling Tropical Smoothies in the cafeteria during the lunch periods in order to raise money for Prom. The Smoothies cost $3 each, and the Junior Class receives half of the profits.

“Until the 9th, students can buy the smoothies in the cafeteria in front of the lunch line,” Junior Class Vice President Diana Sheedy said. “They will be delivered, and students can pick them up in the same spot.”

The two flavors offered are Jetty Punch and Hawaiian Breeze.

“The fundraiser’s a lot different from the ones that are usually held around school,” junior Ana Guerra said. “I think people will be more likely to support it, and also we’re getting a ton of the profit which is good.”

Students can pick up the smoothies Nov. 14 at 3:30 p.m.

“Smoothies are delicious, and it’s a great way to get a discount on a smoothie,” Sheedy said. “Also, we raise money for Prom so we can save money on Prom too. It’s a lot of proceeds, so people should go all out.”
