Junior girls Powderpuff practice to begin Friday

The Junior Class has scheduled the first girls’ powderpuff practice Friday, at 3:50 p.m. Students should meet at the farthest soccer fields away from the gym.

“We’re going to go over basic football strategies, see what positions people like playing, and toss around the ball to get a feel for the game,” Junior Class historian Jaclyn Martin said.

Practice should last from about an hour to an hour and a half. Students need a copy of their EL2 and EL3 forms in order to practice.

“I’m really looking forward to destroying the seniors,” Junior Class vice president Diana Sheedy said. “We’re going to play real football with real plays and represent our grade as the guys wear super short shorts and cheer for us.”

School Resource Officer Charles Landmasser will be coach the junior girls.
