The Junior Class has rescheduled the beach volleyball tournament to April 7 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“It was originally on March 11 but we decided change it to give people more notice,” Junior Class member Kylie Wenger said.
The tournament will still be held at Paradise beach in Indialantic.
“Anyone can sign up who wants to support the Junior Class,” Junior Class member Alyssa Johnson said. “We already have a lot of people who have shown interest in playing but official sign ups won’t be until after we get from spring break.”
Teams should be made up of two people and the cost to enter is $10 per team.
“We can’t charge money for spectators because the beach is a public place, but we’re asking for a $2 donation in order to support the Junior Class,” Johnson said.
Money raised from the tournament will help fund decorations for Prom.
“We also plan on having movie tickets for the winners of the tournament,” Wenger said. “The tournament last year was a lot of fun, and it’s a way to have some fun while supporting your class.”
