Hawks down boys’ lacrosse 20-3

Sophomore Joe Saladino scored, but the boys’ lacrosse team took a 20-3 beating at the hands of Viera on Thursday night.

“This team played much better than us,”Salidino said.” We didn’t come together as a team, and we didn’t execute correctly.”

The Wildcats, 1-1, have have shown that they can work together based on last Monday’s 17-0 victory over Eau Gallie, but they now must learn to be more consistent, according to sophomore Bryce Rothery.

“The other team had good chemistry and had up-close shots the entire night,” Rothery said. “We played much differently than Tuesday in a bad way. I think if our team can recover from this, the season will go pretty well.”
