Guest artist postpones due to illness

Teresa Ferguson, a local watercolor teacher at the Melbourne Adult Learning Center, recently had been invited to campus to teach students about the precision and beauty in watercolors. But two weeks ago, drawing and painting teacher Annamarie Zink told her disappointed seventh-period  class that there had been a delay in Ferguson’s arrival.

“I am really sorry guys, but Theresa has been really sick,” Zink said.  “She will hopefully come to teach our class in the next couple of weeks.”

Some students were relieved that Ferguson was OK, but sophomore Samantha Grant expressed disappointment regarding the postponement.

“I was really pumped for this lesson in watercolors,” she said.

According to Zink, Ferguson hopes to reschedule her on-campus lesson in a few weeks.
