St. Katherine’s Greek Orthodox Church will be hosting its annual Greek Festival from Friday, Feb. through Sunday, Feb. 23. The festival will take place at the church at 5965 N Wickham Rd Melbourne, FL 32940 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.

“I’m a dancer in the festival, so I’m part of the senior group, and we dance three or four times a day,” sophomore Callia Karas said. “The festival celebrates Greek culture. My favorite part is the baklava sundaes.”

The event will include cultural dances presented by the Church’s youth group. Jewelry vendors, face painting, and Greek food and pastries will also be available.

“I really like Greek Fest,” Karas said. “The food is amazing, and I also like watching the dancers dance because it’s really interesting. When they call everyone into the middle and they all dance, which is fun. They also have a bunch of great little shops and places where you can get cute jewelry and cool clothes.”
